Mette Berg

With a master degree in Social Work, more than ten years working in social work (most of them relating to family counseling) and being a minister’s wife, building community and relations is at the center of my life. I always have my starting point at the very challenging experience my husband and I had when we moved to Toronto, Canada and started a new life without knowing a soul on the continent. We ended up living there for the most amazing five years with a huge community both inside and outside of the church. Since then, community building has interested me deeply. It was the center of my masters degree where I went a step further and explored exactly how we help the most marginalized people in our society set their mark and have their voices heard.

I do key note speaks and workshops about how to involve members, how to get new members and how to build and evolve communities in association with Sogneaften.dk.
